Monitored
Medication Dispenser
The monitored pill dispenser may be filled by the carer or
relative and programmed to expose the medication at a pre set
time. The unit gives an audible prompt for the client to take
their medication. After a preset time the unit closes. Thus
ensuring that the carer has conformation that the dose of
medication has been removed. This attempts to prevent multiple
accidental dosage.
Pendants / Push
buttons
These come in a wide variety of types from wrist mounted to
pendants around the neck. We also use them as wall mounted units
for panic / personal attack use.
Fall / Activity
Detectors
Carelink also offer units that monitor the user
for evidence of a fall or of incapacity through lack of normal
motion..
Smoke
/CO Alarms
Smoke alarms and carbon monoxide detectors are also available
linked to the Carelink receiving station
Heat Alarms
In addition to the normal smoke and carbon monoxide alarms Carelink have detectors that sense a heat source left
on.
Gas and Flood
Detectors
Gas and flood detectors are also linked to services as they
enter the accommodation. On detecting an unlit gas source the unit not only alerts
the Carelink receiving station but shuts off the
gas
source. If water is detected on the floor near a sink or bath
the Carelink receiving station is alerted.
